Arepa was a great experience. It had great reviews, so I wanted to try it and I understand why it's too rated. The food is authentic, tasty, made fresh from scratch and left you wanting to return to the restaurant to try the rest of the menu. I think I will go for one of the meat platters next time. I highly recommend the empenadas as well, we got one for each, my favorite was the cheese one. My sandwich was steak, a chunk of cheese and avocado. All together it was delicious. Inside is clean, simple, and had plenty of seating. There was a lot of people coming and going as it's clearly a popular spot, and for good reason.

First time here. We had Venezuelan food in FL before but this is more for us. My daughter loved the fried yucca especially with all the different dipping sauces you can try. We ordered the sancocho (soup) and it was very tasty with chunky meat. The empanada was also great. Would definitely come back!

First time trying a Venezuelan dish. It did not disappoint. Plus the staff was friendly as well. Will be back for sure when in the area. We tried the meat platter and pulled beef something with sunny side up eggs, fried bananas and beans; can't remember the name. Both were awesome. Freshly made but it's worth the wait. The cassava fries that went with the meal were so good.

It is my new true love. I’ve never tried Venezuelan cuisine, but it’s very good—unusual and surprisingly tasty. I really want to try more, but I did’t know what to choose. In this case, they recommend a sample plate. Thank you. You are successful converted me to a regular customer.

While I was born here, my dad is Chinese-Venezuelan, so I’ve always wanted to try Venezuelan food, but there were never any options nearby until this spot opened the year after I graduated from high school (it’s right next door) and I immediately fell in love. I don’t think I’ve ever come to a place so regularly. I’m always craving for an arepa after an early day of classes, and this restaurant always manages to fulfill it. Service is quick and the staff are so kind. The students are lucky to have such an amazing local restaurant nearby. I hope you guys continue to have amazing business. For now, I’ll keep on stopping by for an arepa llanera and fruit juice on the way back from class!

This was my first time having Venezuelan food, and I was blown away by this place Normally, I would go with the meat option, but I had to limit myself to vegetarian options for the day, so I picked the Arepa Moqui, which came with white cheese and 3 sweet plantains. I also got the Venezuelan Empanadas with cheese filling The Arepa was really, really good. The cheese was melted slightly, and not fully, but I found this actually made it better as full melting would've caused it to overflow beyond the bounds of the arepa. More importantly, there was a ton of cheese in here - and it tasted fantastic. Another great part of this was the bread - it was lightly fried and resembled a pita bread of sorts, but the physical format of the sandwich made it really good as it was able to hold food on one end and open up to your mouth on the other. I found that the bread was soft, thick, and tasted amazing While not much of a filling, the plantains did taste really good. They were quite sweet, but also oily on the outside, and it was certainly a unique experience to try. I think it would've been slightly better ordering a different arepa that was more consistent in its non-cheese filling throughout, but it was still good I think my favorite part, though, might be the Empanada. The fried dough was unbelievably crispy throughout and remained so across the entire empanada. Each bite delivered an incredible crunch that was just so satisfying. The cheese filling was also really good - it was super warm and plentiful, and also melted perfectly inside. The empanada was also massive - arguably more filling than the arepa. I wasn't even able to finish it. I love how warm everything was - when the food was delivered - it was so hot we had to wait for it to cool down for a second. Also, the provided sauces were amazing. We filled up the chipotle, spicy, and garlic sauces, and I absolutely loved dipping both of these in the chipotle and garlic sauces. For the price, this was around 20 per person, so not that cheap, but I thought it was really filling Overall, a simple yet fantastic new experience. 9.25/10
